How to improve the performance of OSOP by removing customers
When you import orders into One Stop Order Processing (OSOP), by default it stores the details of the customers from your imported orders.
After a while, you will have a large number of customer details built up. Very high volumes of customer data can slow down the software unnecessarily.
One way that it can be improved is by removing customer accounts on OSOP which have no current orders.
This is a very simple process and an easy way to help improve performance.
This can be done by completing the following steps:
- Navigate to Housekeeping->Purge Deleted Items->Remove Customers who have no orders
- Then continue by clicking yes on the dialog
Another way you can improve the performance is by running the Compact and Repair Orders Database feature which will help clear out any data that is not required.
This can be done by going to:
Housekeeping->Order Database Information->Click Compact and Repair Orders Database
