How to create a Main Product SKU and how to combine your selling channel SKU's

The following guide explains how to create a Main Product SKU and how to combine your selling channel SKU's

This feature is available in the Professional, Premium and Managed subscriptions of One Stop Order Processing.

To make sure that stock control works correctly your SKU's from different selling channels must be connected. The most efficient way to do this is to create a main product within OSOP and then connect all of your other SKU's for the same product by using the combine button.

There are 2 available options to go for when creating your main SKU.

- Firstly you can use one of your selling channels as you main SKU, the following articles show you how to import your products either manually via csv or automatically.

- Secondly you can create a new product

You can do this by opening the product dialog box, you can do this by clicking the button shown below,

Then click "New" and enter the product details making sure that you enter an SKU

Now that you have created/ imported your product you can combine your other products.

Firstly tick all of the products that are the same with different selling channel SKU's and your main SKU.

Click the combine button

Select your main SKU from the list

Click select

You can then edit details on the manage stock for all of the items in one place

To check that they products are connected correctly, open up the main product and click on the "Order Type SKU's page and the other selling channel SKU's should be listed.

Note: If on all of your selling channels you have the same SKU's the products will be automatically combined as they are imported wether that be they if are brought in through the product import or if they are brought in via the orders.

Note: The stock control feature is only available in the premium version of OSOP
